To mark Armed Forces Day at Wellesley, Aldershot our Cambridge Military Hospital proudly took part in a Beacon of Light event on Saturday 26th June.

At 9.30pm six beacons of light swept across the skies of Aldershot from different locations to celebrate Armed Forces Day – supporting the men and women who make up our Armed Forces community. The event was an opportunity for residents to come out on doorsteps, meet-up in gardens and share a moment together, while commemorating our Armed Forces.

With Aldershot being the former Home of the British Army, the event was part of a day long programme of events and activities arranged by Rushmoor Borough Council.
