Visit from Gorkha Municipality

Today Wellesley hosted the Gorkha Municipality from Nepal and showed them the work we are doing here and our plans for the future.

Rushmoor has an international link with the Municipality and following an earthquake in the region in 2015 the group were keen to hear about the way we are regenerating the area.

Those who attended included, The Mayor of Gorkha Municipality Mr Rajan Raj Panta, Chief Administration Officer of Gorkha Municipality Ms Krishna Kumari Shrestha, President of Journalist Federation Mr Kishor Jung Thapa, President of the Greater Rushmoor Nepali Community Jib Belbase. From Grainger plc, Project Manager Asim Kayani and Community Development Manager Carla Norton attended the visit.
