At the end of August, the Victorian Society came to Aldershot to tour the town’s historic military assets.
The Victorian Society is a charity championing Victorian and Edwardian buildings in England and Wales.
As part of their tour, the group of 30 came to Wellesley to see Smith Dorrien House, Mandora House, the Louise Margaret Hospital and the Cambridge Military Hospital.
The tour was led by local historians Paul Vickers and Dean Hollands.
A spokesman for the Victorian Society said: “We had a wonderfully interesting day- the size and buildings on the site are amazing. We really do appreciate everything you did to make the visit a success and for your enthusiasm in showing it all to us. It was very much appreciated.”
