TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURE, QUEENS ROUNDABOUT/ A325 FARNBOROUGH ROAD

Our contractors, Walker Construction, will be shortly be carrying out highway works to upgrade the existing shared use footway/ cycleway facility along the A325 Farnborough Road between Queens Roundabout and Alison’s Road. The works will last for approximately 15 weeks, completing December 2019. Please note these timescales are weather dependent.  Any changes to the scheduled date will be made clear on the yellow sign boards erected on site.

As part of the works a schedule of the trees will be removed to allow for the exiting footpath to be widened into a shared footway/cycleway.

During this time a lane closure will be in place southbound from the Queens Roundabout to the Alison’s Road Exit Slip, from 9:30am to 3:30pm Monday – Friday, and Saturday’s until 1:00pm.

There will be an alternative signed route in place for pedestrians.

We will endeavour to keep the traffic flowing at all times. During this period the road and other lanes will remain open, which we hope will keep disruption to a minimum.

In the case of an emergency during the works please contact Walker Construction on 07710 077737.
