In March Hampshire County Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on the A323 High Street, (Ordnance Roundabout) including Ordnance Road and Windsor Way approaches.
The work is due to take place in March 2018 (exact date to be confirmed) and is estimated to take 5 night shifts to complete, between the hours 20.00-06.00 hours.
In order to undertake the works safely Hampshire County Council will be closing the roundabout along with sections of the adjacent roads. During the closure periods signed diversion routes will be in place.
The contractors carrying out the works will endeavour to keep noise to a minimum during the works and the council will be sending out advance warning letters to advise the local residents.
Information signs advising road users of the works will be erected approximately 2 weeks before the start of works. A further letter will be sent to local residents, and an email will be sent to Rushmoor Borough Council to advise them accordingly of the start date and working hours.
We will update this article once the start date for the works is announced.
